Taking aim at the media, Harry said, "No one knows the entire truth. We know the whole truth, the institution knows the whole truth, and the media knows the whole truth because they were in on it." He believed it was his "duty" to "uncover this exploitation and bribery that occurs within our media."

Comparing Meghan to his mother, Princess Diana who died in a car accident in 1997 while being pursued by reporters, he said, "So much of what Meghan is and how she resembles my mother... She exudes the same confidence and kindness."

"I accept that there will be people around the world who fundamentally disagree with what I've done and how I've done it. But I knew that I had to do everything I could to protect my family, especially after what happened to my mum," Harry continued.

Meanwhile, the Buckingham Palace is bracing for any impact the show will have on the royal family. Harry and Meghan inked lucrative deals with the streaming giant Spotify, as reported by Insider.

The docuseries is advertised as a Netflix global event, with Harry and Meghan presenting "the other side of their high-profile love story." The show is directed by Oscar-nominated director Liz Garbus. The first three parts of the show were released on Thursday, December 8, while the next three parts will be out on December 15.
