Referring to West's post, Musk wrote on Twitter, "I take that as a compliment!"

West's Twitter account was suspended after a series of controversial tweets. Among his latest tweets was one where he announced his support for Balenciaga after the fashion house was blasted for its BDSM ad campaign featuring children. 

West also shared a logo that appeared to be a mix of the Star of David and a Swastika, but it was later deleted as it “violated Twitter rules." Wrapping up his Twitter storm, West tweeted a photo of Elon Musk in swimming trunks getting hosed down on a boat. He captioned the photo, "Let’s always remember this as my final tweet #ye24.” West announced his Twitter suspension on Truth Social, saying his account was suspended for 12 hours. West's account was initially locked for 12 hours but later suspended, according to the Daily Mail.

Musk later tweeted, "I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended."

West was slammed on social media after taking a dig at Musk. "How about everyone just quit listening to Kanye for a while," one user wrote on Twitter, while another said, "Why did Kanye think it would be an insult for someone to be Chinese?"

"What difference does it make a human is a human . But what this human has achieved is the rarest," one user said. Another wrote, "I remember kids that lost in grade school would resort to name calling." "Yes, hybrid between his mother and his father," commented one user.
