'You left too early': Tina Turner mourns son's death at 62, Internet says 'rest in peace, Ronnie'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tina Turner’s youngest son, Ronnie Turner — whom she shared with late ex-husband Ike Turner — died at age 62 on Thursday, December 8. Mourning the sudden death of her “beloved” son, the 83-year-old mother wrote, “Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son." Ronnie’s wife, Afida, too posted an emotional tribute along with a series of pictures of him on her Instagram writing, "So unfair."
According to The Sun, police got a 911 call on the morning of December 8 from an individual who reported Ronnie, who made an appearance in his mother's 1993 biopic, 'What's Love Got To Do With It?' starring Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne as Tina and Ike, was struggling to breathe outside their home. The cause of his death is not yet known, however, multiple outlets have reported that he suffered from several health issues in recent years, including cancer.
