LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Camille Grammer's mother, Maureen Wilson Donatacci, died on Saturday, December 17, after a long fight against cancer at the age of 75. The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum took to her Instagram to share the heart breaking news. Maureen has been diagnosed with different kinds of cancer - ovarian, colon and most recently, bladder. Grammer previously revealed that her mother was first diagnosed at the age of 47 with stage 3 ovarian cancer.

Announcing the news and paying a tribute to her late mother, the 54-year-old actress took to her Instagram and wrote, "My mom gained her angel wings today. She was a strong beautiful warrior who fought to the very end. Her strength and endurance was an inspiration to so many. She lived her life to the fullest. Her love and sense of humor made us feel better during difficult times. I will miss you everyday. I love you so much!" A rep told People, "Camille Grammer's mother passed away peacefully at her home in New Jersey this morning surrounded by family. She succumbed after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Camille and her [mother] were both afflicted with 'genetic' cancers and were warriors for the cause for the past decade. The rep said that arrangements for Donatacci are pending."

Back in a September post, Grammer wrote, "For my birthday I spent a few days with my family. It was a very special birthday for me to spend that time with my mother who’s been battling kidney and bladder cancer for years now. She was first diagnosed at the age of 47 with stage 3 ovarian cancer. With the help of her amazing doctors she is still with us. Her 75th birthday is on the 19th of September. Bless her for not giving up years ago. Let this be a reminder how precious life is. September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month (GCAM). Ladies listen to your bodies if something doesn’t seem right call your doctor. Don’t forget your annual Check ups."

'Truly saddened to hear'

Soon after Grammer shared the sad news, fans took to social media to express their condolence to the grieving family. One user wished well for Grammer's family saying, "I am so sorry for your loss…. I lost my mum 7 years ago and it doesn’t get easier…. Her strength really shone through when I watched her on RHOBH" Another user commented on Grammer's Instagram post, "So very sorry for your loss! May God sustain you and your family during this most difficult time!" Another user wrote, "She was always in your corner. And now, watch over you and your family. I am sending you love and support. @therealcamille #griefsupport"
