Rosalia drops preview of her new song 'TKN' with Travis Scott, fans call it 'collaboration of the year'
Rosalia and Travis Scott and stirring up Twitter hype as they join forces for their new song 'TKN'. The new collab is due out May 29, as per Pitchfork, and fans are "pumped." Rosalia teased the track in a tweet earlier this month with a picture of the cover art and dropped a preview of the song on her Twitter a few hours ago. The singer released her last solo single 'Dolerme' which dropped in March and followed 'Juro Que' which released in January. Her second studio album 'El Mal Querer' released in 2018, the same year when Travis Scott released his third full length, 'Astroworld'. Last year, the rapper released the compilation 'JACKBOYS', for his group of the same name, Jackboys, via his recording label Cactus Jack. Jackboys is a collective group of American rappers signed to Cactus Jack Records, consisting of Scott himself, Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, Luxury Tax, and Scott's DJ Chase B. It features guest appearances from Rosalía, Lil Baby, Quavo and Offset from the hip hop trio Migos, Young Thug, and Pop Smoke.
This isn't the first time the two have appeared on the same song, as Rosalia joined the remix version of Scott's hit 'Highest in the Room' (2019), which also featured Lil Baby. Scott recently worked with Kid Cudi on their new song called 'The Scotts', which debuted in the virtual 'Fortnite' video game concert. The rapper has also collaborated with NAV and Gunna (on 'Turks'), Migos and Young Thug ('Give No Fxk'), and another Young Thug collab, titled 'Out West', with a music video that stars Quincy Jones.
