BAHAMAS, NASSAU: Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the famous cryptocurrency firm FTX, was arrested on Monday, December 12, 2022, over wire fraud, wire fraud conspiracy, and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The 30-year-old appeared in court on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, and begged the judge to let him get out of jail as he follows a strict vegan diet and was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder.

The cryptocurrency firm owner was willing to pay a sum of $ 250,000 for the same. However, he also hinted that he would not waive an extradition hearing on being sent back to the US as he faces a slew of federal charges, including fraud and making illegal campaign contributions.
