SANTA CLARA, UTAH: A 12-year-old Little League World Series player, has been hospitalized after sustaining an injury in his dorm, the organization said on Monday, August 15 in a statement. According to Oliverson's uncle Spencer Beck, Easton Oliverson was hurt when he fell off his bunk bed, suffering an apparent head injury. "While living the dream and having the opportunity of a lifetime in Williamsport, last night my little nephew Easton fell off the bunk bed. He has been life-flighted to a children's hospital in Danville, PA," Beck wrote on Facebook. "He has made it through a successful surgery and his brain is reacting well. Please keep my little buddy Easton and our family in your prayers. We love you!"

Oliverson is a pitcher and outfielder for Utah's Snow Canyon Little League team, Daily Mail reported. According to the team, the incident took place on Sunday night. He is now in a medically induced coma, his uncle told TMZ. Oliverson was able to give two thumbs-up gestures late Sunday night, his coach told ABC News
