MOSCOW, IDAHO: Earlier in December, detectives investigating the Idaho quadruple homicide released bodycam footage which was shot around the same time when the four University of Idaho students were killed in the early hours of November 13. Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Xana Kernodle were apparently sleeping when they were stabbed by their still-at-large assailant(s) in their off-campus house at 1122 King Road near the university.

In the bodycam footage, police are seen catching three students for underage drinking very close to the murder house.  The incident reportedly happened at roughly 2.50 am on November 13, while it has been said that the murders occurred between 3 am and 4 am. Now, it is being speculated that the bodycam footage may have also captured a few screams and words in the background as a Reddit user shared a clip where they slowed down the video to clarify the background noise so that it is audible. The user shared the video and wrote, "Something from the LE bodycam NOT being discussed 2:55 am passerby banter."

Internet in shock as it appears Idaho murder house is available for rent less than a month after killings

In the slowed down video, the background voice can be apparently heard saying, "Stop it, stop." A short while later, the voice from the background apparently adds, "You fu****g drugged her". All these speculations have to be taken with a pinch of salt, as theories spun by web sleuths may not have any factual basis.

Moscow police have meanwhile cautioned online detectives that any fake information or defamatory statements about anyone related to the case will result in action. Authorities have faced a difficult challenge with no arrests thus far, especially in light of rising pressure from victims' families and the public, as reported by MEAWW.

Police have lately asked the public for help in identifying a vehicle of interest - a white Hyundai Elantra that was in the "near proximity" of the home where the four students were stabbed to death. The police and FBI are actively looking for the vehicle and scrutinizing surveillance footage from around town.
