A photograph of a sign calling for 'white tenants' did the rounds on social media on Monday, March 1. The picture was posted on Instagram page of a South Carolina apartment complex to which the apartment management said the account "was surreptitiously taken over."

The tweet was shared by a user @Itssimplym3, according to The Daily Dot. It contained the screenshots of the Instagram page for the Coastal Club Student Living complex in Red Hill, South Carolina. Although the post was deleted, there was a black and white image in the post which read: "We want white tenants in our white community."
