Update: Contrary to what Swifties may have believed, latest news reports appear to negate the rumors that Taylor Swift is lined up to play the next Super Bowl Halftime show.

TMZ claims its sources have told them that Taylor won't be performing at Super Bowl LVII in Arizona. Fans just put two and two together after Apple Music announced taking over the sponsorship for NFL's Super Bowl halftime show, replacing longtime sponsor Pepsi. Taylor fans went into overdrive thinking that since the singer has previously starred in Apple commercials, she would also be roped in for the performances.

Since the National Football League (NFL) said that they are going to make a major announcement at ‘midnight’, singer Taylor Swift's name has been doing the rounds. According to many fans, this is a hint from the sports body and they believe it means that the 32-year-old singer will be performing during the Super Bowl Halftime Show next year. Interestingly, NFL broke the news of their new Halftime sponsors at ‘midnight’ as well. It was in May when the league announced Apple Music as their sponsor for the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime after Pepsi pulled out.

The connecting factor here is that Taylor Swift is releasing her upcoming album in October, which is titled ‘Midnights’ too. The 'Bad Blood' singer is known for regularly making her announcements at midnight. Moreover, Swift’s 'Midnights Mayhem with Me' series on TikTok is where she has been sharing with her fans every night, track title of the ‘Midnights’ album.
