The Game takes shots at Eminem with ‘The Black Slim Shady’

The Game in the song narrates a story about kidnapping Stan’s brother and riding in an Uber with him through Eminem’s hometown of Detroit. While dissing Eminem, he raps, “I was in the Rolls-Royce with 5’9″s when you was pretending to be the white Royce Da 5’9/ And the biggest rapper in Detroit, that award is Sean Don.”

In another part of the song, The Game drags Dr Dre in the conversation spitting, “Ask Dre, all I got is my word, my d**k and my MAC-10/One thing you can never have is my m****f****n’ Black, skin/ This ain’t no suit that I wore, this ain’t a mansion to hang a plaque, this ain’t no stupid award.” The 42-year-old rapper then raps as Eminem’s Oscar-winning hit ‘Lose Yourself’ with, “So oh, he goes platinum and oh, I’m on the ‘Math with him/ He got all the Blackest friends, he wants to be African, me/ Left for dead on the Doctor’s Advocate/ Dre never executive produced it, I just imagined it.” In March, The Game had claimed that Eminem was overrated but the latter never really responded to him.

‘All he did was regurgitate Em’s career’

Hip-hop fans thronged Twitter to slam The Game’s diss track against Eminem. Many claimed Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Rap Devil’ was a better diss track than ‘The Black Slim Shady’. “Was excited to hear The Game diss track just in hopes of Em making a diss track but that wont happen cause "The Black Slim Shady" was a**. I can see you may have copied this flow and cadence to maybe flip it on him but man that didn't help at all. Man MGK diss hit harder 0/10”, said one user as another posted, “The black slim shady is f*****g horrendous wtf.” And, another shared, “The Game claimed he Never bumped Eminem's albums only for him to mention Eminem's whole life and use his flow as a supposed diss track then titled it - THE BLACK SLIM SHADY. Bro that's a Tribute to Em.”

The next one tweeted, “My respect for Rapdevil after listening to The Black Slim Shady.” Meanwhile, another said, “If y’all trashed MGK’s Rap Devil track then y’all should trash The Black Slim Shady especially when Rap Devil was actually a better track & came at Eminem harder.” An individual asserted, “He’s naming his album after a Nas album, he has 7 Jayz samples, he’s been dressing like Kanye West and he’s calling himself ‘The Black Slim Shady’ if that’s not an identify crises I don’t know what is… lame af.” Whereas, the next one said, “I just listened to the Black Slim Shady...Hit-Boy needs to start distancing himself from The Game.” And, one user concluded, “The Game really put out a 10 min Eminem diss track here it is in all its glory, pirated so we won’t ring up his official numbers. The beat slaps & he can rap but all he did was regurgitate Em’s career, using all Em’s lyrics. A jealous Stan I think.”
