Following the news of her death, the American rock band paid tribute to the singer-songwriter in a statement on Wednesday night, November 30. “There are no words to describe our sadness at the passing of Christine McVie. She was truly one-of-a-kind, special and talented beyond measure,” the band said. The band's best-known songs include 'Dreams', 'Go Your Own Way', and 'Everywhere'. During her legendary music career, 'Songbird' was ironically one of the last hit songs McVie sang.
