OWN’s (Oprah Winfrey Network) most popular series to date ‘The Haves and The Have Nots’ is returning with its next installment, offering an extra dose of affairs, betrayals, manipulation, and drama. Comprising a multi-racial cast, the series is based on Tyler Perry’s play of the same name from 2011. The network’s highest-rated broadcast recently announced the series' return with a seventh season, and here’s all you need to know about it.

Season 7 of ‘The Haves and the Have Nots’ is scheduled to release on January 7, 2020, on Oprah Winfrey Network.

Plot

‘The Haves and the Have Nots’ revolves around the lives of the rich Cryer and Harrington families (the haves) and the poor Young family (the have nots) and their respective dysfunctional lifestyles. The lives of the rich and the destitute family intervene Hanna takes up a job at the Cryer family as a maid.

The series tagline for the upcoming season reads, “revenge, heartbreak, betrayal, death, and destruction touching the lives of every character.” The Cryer, Harrington and Young families continue to fight for their survival, as they return with a vengeance.
