SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: After asking the staff to work for long hours or take severance, Elon Musk has now sent a stern email to Twitter staff members, informing them of dire legal repercussions should they breach nondisclosure agreements by exposing business secrets to the media. Musk has asked staffers to sign a pledge indicating they've understood the mail and reply to it by 5 pm on December 11.

Zoe Schiffer, the managing editor of Platformer, has revealed the contents of the email via a Twitter thread. “As evidenced by the many detailed leaks of confidential Twitter information, a few people at our company continue to act in a manner contrary to the company’s interests and in violation of their NDA,” Schiffer wrote, sharing the email contents in a Twitter thread. “This will be said only once," Musk warned, "If you clearly and deliberately violate the NDA that you signed when you joined, you accept liability to the full extent of the law & Twitter will immediately seek damages.”
