The Master's 'back!': Fan rejoice as Tiger Woods drops F-bomb on hot mic
Tiger Woods is finally back. Woods looked fantastic in the opening round of the 2022 Masters, his first tournament since a horrific car accident in February 2021 in Los Angeles nearly ruined his career. The golfer had suffered significant leg injuries in the incident. After his 14-month long hiatus, in his return to the greens, the 15-time major winner also showcased some classic Tiger traits, throwing an f-bomb that was recorded on a hot mic. It happened on the par-4 ninth hole when his shot from the woods slid off the front of the green. Cameras caught Woods cursing on the golf course but his overall performance confirmed that he's back to form.
While television executives were not really thrilled with Woods' words, golfers at home may relate to his frustration. Woods' curse word was commented on by Twitter users. One of them wrote, “Tiger Woods isn't official back until we've caught him dropping F-bombs on the hot mic. He's back.” “Tiger dropping an F-bomb means the world could be back to normal soon. #TigerWoods” said another tweet. “Dear ESPN+, Don’t you dare use that dump button on Tiger Woods. We want to hear all the f-bombs. Sincerely, Everyone," yet another person hilariously quipped.
