Tina Turner's son Ronnie Turner's cause of death revealed after he was found dead at 62
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Days after it was reported that Tina Turner’s son Ronnie Turner has died at the age of 62, officials revealed he died due to “complications” from colon cancer. The musician died at his home in Fernando Valley on Thursday, December 8.
A report by Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office noted that Ronnie also suffered from atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease at the time of his death, according to Page Six. Atherosclerosis is a hardening of arteries caused by gradual plaque build-up, which causes obstruction of blood flow. Last week, Ronnie’s wife of 17 years, Afida also revealed that he died in just three weeks of fighting cancer, which ravaged his body.
