NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, the hosts of the 'Today' show, are at risk of losing their jobs if they don't patch things up. A source has said that NBC heads have warned the dueling divas to "Stop the b***hing and backstabbing, or you're toast!"
According to reports, the morning show co-hosts have been engaged in a power battle for years, but it has gotten out of hand recently. Hoda, 58, reportedly reacts angrily by rolling her eyes and sniping at Savannah, 50, who is said to parade around the set like the queen bee. A few weeks ago, Savannah apparently boasted on social media about showing up to work late, which was regarded as a way for her to show Hoda who was in charge. This is when things supposedly came to a head between the two and it also incurred the fury of her superiors.

"The feeling at NBC is that this pettiness has gone on way too long, and it's having a negative impact on guests and morale on the set," revealed an insider, as per RadarOnline.com. "Both of them have been hauled aside and told to make nice. They've also been told both of them are dispensable."
The workforce has been compelled to choose sides in the conflict as a result of the stars' headbutting, which has caused unrest on the set. "The staff are in an impossible position," said the source. "It would be smart to align with Savannah because she is the boss, but Hoda is so much more fun. Do you pick the person you like best, or the person who will help your career? It's not easy but everyone is having to make a choice."
According to rumors, Jenna Bush Hager, 40, a coworker of Savannah and Hoda, has been caught between the two in their conflict. However, according to sources, the ambitious former first daughter has been agitating the situation by pitting the two against one another in an effort to replace them.
On the bright side, the catfighting on the set is incomparable to the biggest scandal of 'Today' when the show's then golden boy anchor Matt Lauer was ousted in disgrace after multiple reports of sexual harassment in November 2017.
Hoda was given the renowned co-host position at that time on a temporary basis; a few months later, she was given the position permanently. Savannah and Hoda were able to maintain their rivalry for a time, but according to reports, it's now completely out of control. "These two have never found it easy to play nice, but it's just making everyone around them fed up," said the source. "The face they're having their heads knocked together is for everyone's long-term benefit."
