Social media has been one of the most extraordinary technological developments that we have seen in recent years and helped many people across the globe. However, there’s a dark side to it as well and just because there is no filter on social media today, people can say anything about anyone even when the other person is completely innocent. Hollywood celebrities deal with a lot of abuse and trolling on social, which forces them to take a break from all the negativity and it seems Tom Holland is the latest high-end star to join the list of quitting social media to take care of himself.

The ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ star has announced that he will be taking a break from social media and will be focusing on self-care because he finds all the social media platforms “detrimental” and needs to step away for his own well-being. In a video posted on Instagram, the actor noted that he finds social media “overstimulating” and feels really uncomfortable while reading things about himself.
