LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Tory Lanez was hit with a third felony charge ahead of Megan Thee Stallion's alleged shooting trial. Lanez, 30, real name Daystar Peterson, and Megan, 28, had attended a party in LA in July 2020 and were in Lanez's SUV in the Hollywood Hills along with Megan's former assistant Kelsey Harris when the pair had a fallout.

The new charge against Lanez is felony negligent discharge of a firearm after he was already charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle. However, Lanez pleaded not guilty and refuted claims that he shot Meghan, reported TMZ. If Lanez is convicted of the charges he could face a maximum six-year jail sentence and consequences could also include deportation for the Canadian rapper.
