LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The trial of rapper Tony Lanez began on Monday, December 12, with opening statements recorded against him. The 30-year-old rapper is accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot and could face 22 years in prison if found guilty of the charges. However, many bashed him for using his son to gain sympathy. A user wrote, "Bringing your kid to court for sympathy is down right sick." One more said, "He trying to get sympathy points lol. As a father he shouldn’t have gotten himself involved in this situation in the first place." While another commented by saying, "Imagine having to do this just to gain sympathy from people, instead of taking the kid to Disneyland he takes him to court this your goals?"
