A fan asked on Twitter, "#LokiSeason2 teaser trailer, does anyone know who the british guy is at end?" Unfortunately, this was not clear enough in the video.

A fan wrote, "Loki season 2 trailer leak and second season is totally crazy #loki #lokiseason2." Another mentioned, "Oh that Loki S2 trailer looks immaculate. Best mcu Disney plus show." Someone else said, "LOKI AYYYYYY." A fan added, 'WE WERE BLESSED TODAY!!!! Loki S2 crumbs." "Avengers Loki will forever have a special place in my heart," another declared. A fan commented, "#Loki glitching through time?! #lokiseason2 is gonna be a ride to NEVER forget."

The first season premiered on Disney+ on June 9, 2021, running for six episodes until July 14, as part of Phase Four of the MCU. The season received positive reviews, with praise for the performances, musical score, and visuals.

In the last episode of Loki Season 1, Renslayer leaves on a mission to find "free will" after Miss Minutes gives her information from the TVA's creator, "He Who Remains". B15 proves to TVA troopers that they are variants by showing them a Renslayer variant who is a school vice-principal. Meanwhile, in the Citadel at the End of Time, He Who Remains tells Loki and Sylvie that he ended a multiversal war between his variants by using Alioth to destroy alternate timelines and created the TVA to maintain this peace. As he has grown weary, he offers them a choice: kill him and risk another multiversal war or replace him in overseeing the TVA and a singular timeline. Sylvie wants to kill him, but Loki pleads with her to stop. They kiss, but Sylvie sends Loki back to TVA headquarters. She ultimately kills He Who Remains, unleashing a multiverse with alternate timelines that the TVA cannot prune. At TVA headquarters, Loki warns Mobius and B-15 about He Who Remains' variants, but they do not recognize him and Loki sees that a statue of one of the variants has replaced statues of the Time-Keepers.

However, in the new 'Loki' season 2 trailer, Henry Cavill, the former DC actor who played 'Superman', was shown in a small bit along with some of the existing actors of the series. Although the trailer does not give away too much, it surely hints at a multiversal time war which excited the fans even more. After witnessing the "epic" trailer of the second season, fans are claiming they "can't wait" for the series to air but there was no release date mentioned in the leaked trailer.
