LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Wednesday' has been ruling the charts of Netflix since its release on the streaming giant. It has amused the audience with its spectacular storyline and the ensemble cast's mindblowing acting, especially Jenna Ortega who has been seen as the titular character of the Netflix series, Wednesday Addams. Along with being one of the most talked about series recently, 'Wednesday' has recently broke a record. The series saw a viewership of 341.2 million hours in its first week, soaring to the top of the TV charts. The figure marks the most hours viewed in one week for an English-language TV series on the streaming platform.

Although that is not all, 'Wednesday' also broke the records of one of the most highly anticipated series on Netflix, 'Stranger Things 4', which was released earlier this year. Ortega's 'Wednesday' premiered on November 16, 2022, and was released on Netflix on November 23, 2022, to generally positive reviews by critics. It is created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who recently promised to showcase more of the Addams family in the next season although it has not been renewed for a second season.
