Antoine Kendrick: Wendy’s employee who punched 67-year-old customer charged with murder after man dies

PRESCOTT VALLEY, ARIZONA: A Wendy’s employee, Antoine Kendrick, 35, has been arrested after punching a 67-year-old man to death. The employee faces charges of second-degree murder for the attack that took place around 4.45 pm on July 26.
According to Prescott Velley Police Department, "An altercation occurred at the restaurant in the 3000 block of Glassford Hill Road, Prescott Valley. A customer complained about his food order, at which time an employee came out from behind the service counter and struck the customer in the head. The customer fell to the floor, striking his head, and lost consciousness." After the assault, Kendrick was seen on surveillance footage walking behind the counter to get his belongings, then leaving. Surprised coworkers gathered near the site of the incident. The statement by the department, which was released on July 28, read, "The customer, a 67‐year‐old Dewey resident, was airlifted to a Valley hospital where he remains in critical condition. The employee, Antoine Kendrick, of Prescott, was arrested and booked on the charge of aggravated assault." However, the elderly man was pronounced dead on August 5, according to authorities.
