GLENDALE, ARIZONA: Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was carried off the field during Monday night's game against the New England Patriots at University of Phoenix Staidum. Murray suffered a non-contact knee injury on just the third play of the game and had to be carted off the field. The Patriots are 7-6 on the season after defeating the Cardinals 27-13 on Monday Night Football. The Cardinals are currently headed for their worst record since Kingsbury debuted in 2019 when they went 5-10-1.

The 25-year-old quarterback tried to cut off his right leg and fell to the ground, where he lay in clear distress for quite a while. He was suspended for the game at the start of the second quarter. According to initial tests, it's feared that Murray tore his ACL, which many people on the Internet have also speculated about. If this is confirmed by an MRI scan, it would be the end of his season. If that's the case, Colt McCoy would take over the starting center position. Murray has already recovered from a hamstring injury and missed two games this year as a result. After the loss, Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury told the press, "It didn't look good. I've never seen him in that type of shape, so I assumed it wasn't good" The fans were supportive of Murray.
