NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Mike Trizano defeated Choi Seung-Woo in their UFC 281 bout, which took place Saturday, Nov 12 at Madison Square Garden. The duo put on a massive fight, with Trizano scoring 10-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC, and Choi 10-6 MMA, 3-5 UFC. The fight began with a rare double knockdown, and Trizano scored another a minute later.
According to MMA Mania.com, the duo hit each other wildly with left hooks, taking each other to the ground. Although Trizano won the fight, he'll not be rewarded with a bonus for fight night, as he missed weight for the featherweight bout.

The first double knockdown came just 20 seconds into the UFC, they traded big punches and both fell on their backs before getting back to their feet. The Ultimate Fight 27 winner continued to fall to the ground but was stopped. Trizano managed to knock Choi down after several attempts to head him off. At the post-fight press conference, Trizano said, “There was no way I was going to be denied. Not with this opportunity. I was going to leave it all out there. It was either I was gonna get flatlined or he was.” He added, “My opponent was a game opponent. You know, the matchmakers did a good job but that’s what I want. I want tough fights, I don’t want to fight anyone who is not good. It was just a flash knockdown but it’s definitely going to be a meme though I’m going to see that for a while.”
