Although the couple in the Netflix series never officially claimed that the home belonged to them, the lavish interiors, with its crystal chandeliers, tall 24-foot ceilings, and private cinema, grabbed a lot of attention. However, while many viewers believed that the couple had filmed the interviews in their family home in Montecito, it has been revealed that they actually used a $33 million mansion located less than ten minutes away.

The pair probably decided against filming in their home to safeguard their privacy, but they have already shown off parts of the opulent house they share with their kids Archie and Lilibet in the past, and Meghan has said they fell in love with it right away. "We did everything we could to get this house. Because you walk in and go… Joy. And exhale. And calm. It's healing. You feel free,” Meghan remarked during a recent interview with The Cut. 

Meanwhile, in the initial three episodes of 'Harry & Meghan' docuseries, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen making a number of accusations, including that they were "not protected" by the Palace and that royal advisers were actively leaking and "planting" allegations about them as part of a "dirty game." Episodes 1-3, or Volume I of the series, released on Netflix on December 8, while Volume II, with episodes 4-6, is expected to  air on December 15.
