Blaha claimed to have "given birth to a baby at her residence" and that she asked Thoma for methamphetamine to ease her labor pain, and he gave it to her. The couple submerged the baby in water to reportedly stop it from crying. Thoma then dumped the baby in a nearby landfill hours after drowning it. The couple was reportedly terrified that if law police arrived at the residence and found meth in the baby’s system they would lose custody of their 2-year-old child, as per Fox 29.
