MIAMI, FLORIDA: Pornhub has lifted the curtains to reveal America's X-rated viewing habits, showing the most popular term searched in 2022 and America’s most popular pornstar of this year. 'Lesbian' was the most searched term across 50 states this year whereas last year's top term 'hentai' secured the second position this time. The biggest change in the list came with Abella Danger leaving Lana Rhoades behind to become America’s most popular porn star of 2022.

The 27-year-old pornstar grabbed the top spot this year to become America's most popular X-rated star. Following these two pornstars were Riley Reid, Violet Myers, and Aussie Angela White, rounding up the top five. Last year, Rhoades topped the charts following Abella Danger, Eva Elfie, Riley Reid, and Mia Malkova. As per the insights, Danger was watched more than 1.6 billion times in 2022, and the top five pornstars have more than 7.1 billion all-time video views combined. While Danger was the top most searched in the US, she ranked fourth in the UK, and the fan favorite was still the controversial Mia Khalifa. The insights have revealed that despite the ongoing troubles in America, it was still the country with the highest daily traffic to Pornhub.
