Who is Alica Schmidt's boyfriend? 

According to multiple reports, the athlete is dating German bodybuilder Fredi Richter, who is also a fitness trainer and coach. Richter has signed on to be the fitness trainer for the German soccer team Borussia Dortmund. The couple reportedly might have met while she was living in Potsdam. have been dating each other for years now.

While it is natural to feel curious about the love life of one of the fittest and most beautiful women in the world, Schmidt does not feed into the intrigue. While Schmidt and her boyfriend Fredi Richter were spotted kissing in public in 2018, she is not vocal about her love life at all. Very little information is known about her boyfriend, apart from the fact that they are together. 

Richter maintains a very low-profile social media presence. He only seems to have an Instagram account but doesn't post any of his own pictures on it. He has, however, posted pictures of his runner girlfriend, like this one below, captioned, "Race weekend for @alicasmd."

While Schmidt has been hailed for her looks, the young athlete has different views on beauty. "It’s based on a subjective opinion of someone else judging the appearance of a person. I like to think that beauty comes from the inside!" Schmidt said and is also quick to add that she’d much rather be known for her achievement on the track like reaching the semifinals of the European Championships.

"The European championships in Munich had been something truly special, Schmidt shared. "Not only because I was able to qualify for individuals, but even more special because the competition took place close to where I grew up. This constellation was extremely emotional and the pinnacle was that my parents where in the stadium too. I appreciated the support of everyone so much, that I can’t even find words to describe how I felt during this time. I was completely overwhelmed but in a positive way,” she added.
