MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: In connection with the high-profile death of Memphis rapper Young Dolph, a third suspect has been indicted. Hernandez Govan, 43, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, reported Fox News.
On November 17, 2021, Young Dolph, real name Adolph Thornton Jr, was shot to death inside Makeda's Homemade Cookies on Airways Boulevard in Memphis. Hernandez was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder on the same day. However, his third indictment, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, goes back to June 2021, implying that Hernandez began preparing Young Dolph's murder months before the renowned rapper was killed. Cornelius Smith and Justin Johnson, two other men, have already been charged with Young Dolph's murder.
