Who is Lizzie Cundy?

Lizzie is a columnist, socialite, and television and radio personality from England. Elizabeth Miller was her original name and she was born on May 2, 1970, in Richmond, London. Following her marriage to professional footballer and radio broadcaster Jason, she used to be a "WAG."

Lizzie is well-known for being a socialite who attends celebrity parties. She frequently appears on ITV's 'This Morning' and 'Celebrity Big Brother' panels and discussions. She joined James King and David Bass on ITV2's film review show 'ITV at the Movies' as a Red Carpet Reporter in 2012. She also appeared in the second season of Channel 4's 'Celebrity Coach Trip'.

Lizzie writes an entertainment column for OK! Magazine and the Express, and she presents a Wedding TV show called 'WAGs' World'. She is also a Fubar radio broadcaster, running a Hollywood discussion program called 'Hot Gossip'. Lizzie starred in the ITV program 'Our Shirley Valentine Summer' in 2018.

Lizzie mentioned a fantastic night she had with Hollywood celebrity and 'Top Gun: Maverick' star Tom Cruise when she announced her book on 'This Morning' in 2019. "I'd interviewed Tom on the red carpet, and I was with my son and said 'lets got for a bite to eat', walk into the restaurant and there's Tom sitting there," she explained. Lizzie added, "I went to the loo, and he recognized me, I ended up staying for another half an hour forgetting my son was waiting for me. We ended up having the night together, it was really good fun."

She has also spoken up about mental health issues following her divorce, claiming that there were times when she "didn't want to live." Lizzie added, "I know I was quite low, it was pretty tough, and I didn't want to live at times."

Her ex-husband, Chelsea footballer Jason Cundy, played for the club from 1988 until 1992. Jason went on to play on loan for Tottenham Hotspur, Crystal Palace, Bristol City, and Ipswich Town before joining Ipswich Town in 1996. He concluded his career with Portsmouth in 2000 after being forced to retire due to injuries.

Lizzie and Jason were married for 16 years until splitting up in 2010 when the latter met opera singer Hannah Pedley. "I've never been on my own, and it's very frightening," she said at the time of her divorce from Jason. "I feel so betrayed. I've had panic attacks and I feel like my right arm has been cut off," Lizzie stated. She further added, "I'm so shocked at how hideous he is being. I don't know him anymore, and I've been married to him for so long. That's the thing that hurts the most."

According to The Sun, she was briefly linked to Hollywood actor and environmentalist Gerard Butler in 2014. After her traumatic divorce from Jason, the writer stated that she "wouldn't wish divorce on anyone." "I did fall for someone very quickly after my divorce, and it didn't work out, and it really did knock my confidence, a really well-known sports star," Lizzie revealed on 'This Morning'. "Sadly, he didn't feel the same way, it really was really traumatic for me," she added.

Lizzie has now accused Meghan and Harry of "bringing down the monarchy" ahead of the premiere of their explosive docuseries. She said, "This could have been screened when the Queen was alive, and I feel they’re just trying to ruin her 70 years of amazing work. I feel like they’ve got to get their own identity – stop whinging, stop moaning."

Lizzie also claimed Meghan "ghosted" her and has previously expressed her displeasure. She has promised to see the documentary, despite the fact that she is "appalled" by it. Three of the six episodes of 'Harry & Meghan' are now available to watch online, with the royals bracing themselves for more bombshell claims from the pair in the next three episodes, which will be broadcast Thursday, December 15.
