Who is Nancy Mace? SC Rep hailed after she skewers trans activist on sick tweets
WASHINGTON, DC: Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace has been hailed online after she grilled a transgender activist who had shared threatening tweets about Supreme Court judges in the past. During a hearing of the House Oversight and Reform Committee on December 13, Mace reportedly had a one-on-one with Alejandra Caraballo, who is also a clinical instructor at Harvard Law School's Cyberlaw Clinic.
When Mace, who has favored LGBTQ+ rights and also supported the recently signed Respect For Marriage Act, questioned the witnesses if they believe “violent rhetoric against government officials on social media to be a ‘threat to democracy,” they all replied in the affirmative, Fox News reported. The South Carolina representative then went on to point out Caraballo’s double standards by presenting her social media posts against Supreme Court judges after Roe V Wade was overturned in June.
