SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: In the light of 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake city' star Jen Shah pleading guilty to the wire fraud case against her after trying to convince her fellow housewives and the bravo audience about her innocence, fans were looking forward to the season 3 reunion to get some answers from her. But it looks like we might not be getting it anytime soon.as the Bravolebrity took to her Instagram account to announce that she would not be attending the reunion while calling out Bravo for their total disregard towards her family and her!
On Friday, December 16, Jen posted a formal announcement on her Instagram page revealing that after initially not inviting her to the reunion, Bravo later invited her back but were unhappy with her decision to not discuss her ongoing lawsuit for legal reasons. This prompted the housewife to post a scathing note against the network. She wrote, "On September 14, 2022, I was informed by Bravo executives that I was not invited to attend the Season 3 Reunion." "I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members. "Out of nowhere, on November 29, two and a half weeks ago, I was invited to attend. I was elated to learn I would now have a voice at reunion. ," she explained.

Why was Jen Shah arrested while filming Season 2 of 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City'?
"I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing. Bravo found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this "storyline." That expectation has no regard for me or my family's well-being; so under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion. I need to focus on the most important thing in my life-my family," she shared.
After reading Jen's post, several 'RHOSLC' fans took to Twitter to call out the network and executive producer Andy Cohen for their double standards. Fans pointed out how several housewives across franchises who were entangled in legal issues were allowed to attend the reunion and not discuss their case, but Jen isn't being given the same option. A fan tweeted, "Ramona wouldn't even talk about her husband cheating on her and leaving her. Teresa (love her) wouldn't talk about her case and she pleaded guilty. Erika takes no accountability for anything and lies. But Jen Shah gets fired? Stop the double standards @BravoTV. @Andy #RHOSLC." "Andy why are you being extremely unfair to Jen Shah about being at the reunion and discussing her legal matters. Theres so many other housewives on the other franchises thats done just as bad or worse and has gotten a pass. Jen is the reason why #RHOSLC is on the map in the first," pointed out a fan. "I’m so confused. Erika was never required to discuss anything she wasn’t able to due to pending legal matters, so why was that a requirement of Jen? #rhoslc," wrote a fan. "So is @Andy gonna address the double standard of how jen and erika were treated? #RHOSLC #RHOBH," wondered a fan. "I don't know who's worst Andy or Teresa? I wonder why Andy cuddles Teresa and Erika when it comes to their legal troubles, but when it comes to Jen shah we can see has hate for her. Hmmm... #WWHL #RHOSLC #TeresaGiudice #erikajayne #JenShah," echoed a fan.
Many fans also speculated if Jen's decision to sit put of the reunion means it's the end of the road for the housewife. A fan shared, "Well… that means Jen is done with Housewives based on “No attendance” rules. Erika faced Andy’s washy washy legal questions…Jen could’ve attended and just say “it’s a ongoing legal case so I cant speak on that..” or is it because of the fake designer items news? #RHOSLC." "Jen Shah not at the reunion…it’s curtains baby. We done seen the last of her on TV after the finale #RHOSLC," noted a fan. "Jen Shah's basically gone from Bravo for not wanting to discuss her legal case at the reunion. Welp! #RHOSLC," seconded a fan.
Jen, 48, had previously pleaded not guilty in April 2021. She changed her stance to guilty earlier this year. The housewife could face a prison sentence of up to 14 years, aside from the $6.5 million she agreed to forfeit and to pay restitution on almost $9,5 million. Jen told the court, "knew it was wrong, many people were harmed and I’m so sorry." She admitted that she “agreed with others to commit wire fraud” and “knew it misled” victims, who were mostly over the age of 55. When asked if she knew what she was doing was wrong and illegal, she replied, “Yes, your honor.”
'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 3 airs every Wednesday at 8/7c on Bravo.
