Will '1917' star Geoge MacKay replace Ezra Miller as 'The Flash'? Fans give their nod to recast the actor
As Ezra Miller continues to swim in the soup he's landed himself in, rumor mills are churning that WB is considering replacing the actor with '1917' star George MacKay in 'The Flash' in the future. To add more fuel to the speculation, fan art of the British actor rocking a Flash costume similar to what Grant Gustin wears in the TV show of the same name has been doing the rounds.
At the time of writing, the studio has firmly maintained its stance that they would not recast Miller given the financial ramifications and that it will release in cinemas as planned, but there have been multiple reports of the actor being replaced in future installments, and on their part, fans have been pushing for Miller to be recast. While some felt Gustin who has starred as the titular character in eight seasons on The CW could be a worthy replacement, MacKay's version did get some approval as well.
