LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly warned not to attend King Charles’ coronation, which is expected to be held on May 6, next year. A group of distinguished former British politicians, generals, and historians came out and demanded the former royals be banned from the upcoming royal event, amid the release of their bombshell Netflix docuseries on December 8.

Former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith told Daily Mail, “If they dislike the Royal Family so much why would they attend the Coronation?” “They shouldn’t come to the Coronation. They categorically shouldn’t come. They make money out of selling their family down the river. I think it should be made clear that the British people do not want them there,” another Tory veteran David Mellor added. Moreover, he also suggested that people “would be perfectly entitled to boo if the couple did turn up,” adding, “They are a sad pair and there is no hope for them on their current course.”
