'The Rock would be proud': WWE fans welcome Dwayne Johnson's daughter Ava Raine's surprise NXT debut
WINTER PARK, FLORIDA: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson's daughter featured on Tuesday night's episode of NXT for the first time on October 25, almost 26 years to the day after her father made his Survivor Series debut in 1996. It was announced that Simone Johnson, whose professional name is Ava Raine, is the newest and fourth member of Joe Gacy's group, the Schism.
A masked individual wearing a red sweatshirt finally made an appearance in the crowd and started working against the opposition for Gacy and the Schism after many weeks of build-up and narration. 21-year-old Raine, who joined WWE in February 2020 and had been attending classes at the organization's Florida Performance Center, turned out to be the surprise newcomer. The audience audibly gasped at the revelation. “The love and acceptance the Schism has given me defies any preconceived notions of who am supposed to be, this family completes me,” Raine said on stage during her debut appearance.
