Sunday night saw irked baseball fans toggle between ESPN and ESPN 2. Former baseball player Alex Rodriguez was on ESPN and the broadcast earned a lot of flak with the fans calling his commentary of the Yankees vs Red Sox game "awful." The ESPN 2 Statcast was well-liked by a section of the audience after the main broadcast was slammed by fans. While not all were happy with ESPN 2 much either, it was all about making a choice of what to tune into. Here are some of the choice reactions.

"ESPN2 isn't exactly spot on with their color commentary but at least it's better than A-Rod," opined one of the fans.

One of the main complaints was the overuse of stats between the Yankees and Red Sox. This was more of a turn-off, as fans hoped for some concrete analysis rather than just numbers on the screen. "Does anyone else find A-Rod extremely annoying while calling Baseball games?!" a fan asked.

"Seriously @espn, fans have constantly talked about how your ESPN2 telecast is much better because the announcers are good. Same can be said for the weekday telecast. A-Rod sucks, and I like Matt, but he wears thin after a while. Promote the B teams since they are the A-teams now," one of the fans commented.

And the flak just continued: "Is Arod drunk or just has a lisp? Thank god for ESPN2 he is unbearable #yankees."

"#ESPN’s broadcast of the #Yankees with A-Rod and Matt Vasgersian was awful compared to the #ESPN2 broadcast. When are they going to tell A-Rod that he needs to work on focusing on what’s going on in the game instead of talking about his experiences?"

However, the Statcast broadcast had some positive response. "Statcast Broadcast on ESPN2 right now is very good and if you don't follow @mike_petriello, you need to do that right away. #ad"

"Holy s**t. I was listening to ARod and Vasgergian s**t on the game of baseball for a half inning when there’s statcast on espn2. Shame on me," read one of the tweets.
