Zendaya has made Emmys history again with 'Euphoria.' Zendaya, 25, is the youngest woman ever nominated for producing at the Emmys, as well as the youngest two-time lead acting contender. She received four nominations in total with today's haul.

Zendaya previously made history in 2020 as the youngest lead actress drama winner (24 at the time) and only the second-ever Black woman to win the award, joining Viola Davis for 'How to Get Away With Murder.' She received two more mentions for her two songs submitted in the original music and lyrics category — "Elliot's Song" from the episode "All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned for a Thing I Cannot Name" and "I'm Tired" from the episode "You Who Cannot See, Think of Those Who Can." Furthermore, she is the first Black woman (and second Black person) to be nominated for both acting and songwriting at the Emmys in the same year.

She was the youngest woman to win the event at the time. 'Euphoria,' based on the Israeli series of the same name created by Daphna Levin and Ron Leshem from 'HOT,' follows a group of high school students in the town of East Highland, including Zendaya's 17-year-old substance abuser Rue, as they navigate identity, trauma, drugs, family, friendships, love, and sex.
