TEMPE, ARIZONA: Several supporters got into a shoving brawl during a hockey game on Friday, December 9, which escalated into swings and vicious punches being thrown. Videos of the major altercation that occurred at Arizona's Mullett Arena during the NHL Coyotes' 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins were posted online and quickly went viral.
One man was observed striking a woman hard enough to knock her to the ground as the brawl grew more violent to the point where other people ended up sliding over the seats. The impact caused her to fall a few rows, but she stood back up right away. A policeman could be seen monitoring the fight before other officers ran over to intervene. One of the officers attempted to break up the chaos before he was also thrown into the rails. The violent brawl appeared to come to an end as more officers arrived on the scene.
