In a recent development, Twitter Support has clarified that it will not let users promote their accounts on other major platforms, essentially banning "free promotion," for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Donald Trump's Truth Social, Nostr, and more. Moreover, third-party link aggregators like linktr.ee and lnk.bio were also banned. For users who will try to bend the rules by spelling out 'dot' and sharing screenshots of their handles on prohibited platforms will be removed.
