FORT WORTH, TEXAS: Following the online disclosure of a football player's genuine age, social media users went berserk with many claiming there is no way the player is as young as he claims to be. Jeremiah Johnson, a player from Fort Worth, Texas, took home the MVP honors at the Youth National Championships which were held over the weekend in Miami.

His accomplishment, however, has been severely eclipsed by the online reaction to his age which has led some people to believe that there must be some sort of fraud going on. Social media fans were shocked to find how old Jeremiah actually is after a photo of the young footballer sporting a mustache went popular on Twitter and Instagram, raising the question: can anyone guess the young running back's real age? Jeremiah claims he is actually almost a decade younger than the most youthful guess, admitting in a video online that he is only 12 years old as many internet users made guesses between 20 and 35. Jeremiah can be seen holding his trophy in what appears to be a video from the championships which was shared on TikTok by a user going by the handle @hoodnews24. The footballer then went on to shock the social media creator by revealing his age. “Hey man, I don't know, how old are you?” the TikTok user asked Jeremiah who responded by saying, “12.”
